Who took web development courses in school?

I took some courses at a university. It was very helpful to learn HTML design. Nonetheless, most of my web development chops were developed outside of school.
 
I didn't take web design or development courses back in school, I usually learnt about web design online and i just became acquainted to it and decided to keep on researching and getting more knowledge about it.
 
It was interesting to get acquainted with a tool needed for web design. It was something like notepad for coders. Anyway, the instructor was interesting. He was a part-time cop, I think.
 
I never did take any of such courses when I was still in college or even the University. It wasn't my course of study.

It's something that I later picked up online and I really liked it. I wish I had learnt it in the university.

The only coding language that I managed to learn when I was still in college was Javascript. I didn't even pay more attention to it and that's why I failed it woefully. I have started learning it all over again.
 
I didn't take any web courses in school. I was more versatile with arts subjects. There are some courses that they can't teach you in school and one of them is web design or development.

I didn't take any web courses in school. I was more versatile with arts subjects. There are some courses that they can't teach you in school and one of them is web design or development.
 
Unfortunately, I never took web development courses in school. It was only when I started working online as a freelancer that I saw the need to learn it. I had to take online courses for it.

I think this is one of the things that you can't learn in school. They have their own specific training ground and you need to take time to learn and master them.
 
Most of the programmers I’ve worked with did not really go to literal school to learn. But if we talk about other kinds of learning as schools, then we can agree that everyone went or is going to school.
 
I never took web development courses in the university. I studied a different course that doesn't have any relationship with web development. It is only on my own that I later started buying courses online to acquire the knowledge.
 
I studied computer science in the school and there were a few chapters on programming. However, when I went to college, I did not continue with computer science. I wish I had studied web development when I was still in school, or in the college.

That is just the reality of every developer today. The majority do not exactly have a degree in programming or web development. It is just something they learned outside the formal education.
 
I only worked on little java when I was still in the university. It was the simple basic that I was able to learn. The rest I was able to learn on programing was learnt online.
 
There wasn't any relationship with the course I studied in university and web developments. t
They are practically two different things which was why I never learned anything about web development in school.

It is important not to depend totally on what students are learning in school as it does not mean that is what they will build their life on. Try to have something to do outside the secular course.
