Posts in Web Hosting should be elsewhere.

The section is about posting a plan, not discussion, so I think the posts should be moved to an appropriate area. Is there a web hosting discussion sub-forum in the works?

    Green Hosting

Anyone use it? Do you think it's good? Is it a scam to prey on environmental types? I mean, do you really think it makes a difference? Oh, by the way, some have commented the price is higher than usual. Nonetheless, they have budget deals.

The Hosting You Should Have Went With

I think maybe I should have went with a name-brand bargain host totally - or something like it, because it's dirt cheap and it isn't that bad. I mean, why pay more when you don't have to? I mean, the drawback of this one company is the lack of cPanel, but so what? The control panel they have...

    Guest Posting

This seems to be a hip way of getting backlinks nowadays. Anyone try it? Anyhow, they can not only be good for SEO, but also for traffic. However, some might only be good for traffic or SEO.

Backlink Checker/ Web Quality Analyzer Software

Stuff like Moz, aHrefs, and Majestic allow one to look at the competition to plan his/her own linking scheme. Anyway, the metrics for Moz are DA and PA - which stand for Domain Authority and Page Authority, respectively. The metrics for Majestic are TF (Trust Flow) and CF (Citation Flow). So...

    Hire an SEO company?

Well, it's probably true many are scams - and the ones that are good are too expensive for most people. However, what are some ways to work around this dilemma? Well, I'm thinking some quality companies might have good deals or coupons. Nonetheless, how can we find out about them?

Directories and Social Bookmarking for SEO

I think it's an outdated method - assuming it was ever one. Anyway, though, I don't think it's a waste of time and I don't think it will hurt you. Well, what I mean is that it won't hurt you, but it won't boost you like the modern methods.

    Blog and Forum Backlinks

I think this method is outdated as a way of SEO, but not so possibly for traffic. Anyway, back in the day all the SEOs were wanting links on blog comments. However, though, as expected, they spammed out the method - making it useless. Anyhow, though, blog commenting is still useful for SEO...

What hosting do you use and why?

Myself, I use SkyNetHosting.net, Host Bunnies, and Hostinger. However, I'm not saying they're the best, but it's just what I use. Anyway, in the past, I used Green Geeks, Host Mantis and a few others.

    Shady Traffic

This is really cheap traffic that offers a ridiculous sounding return of visitors. I mean, imagine paying 10 USD and getting 10,000 people! Anyhow, obviously, more than not, this is a scam and the people doing it are despicable! So in this case, beware.

    Emails Associated with Web Hosting

Web hosting packages seem to all come with email. Does you all use them or other providers? Do you think the web hosting email is better than say gMail or Yahoo! Mail? Well, myself, I have noted that important email doesn't always come to certain providers.

What kind of support do you prefer?

With paid, you have email, live, or both. With free, there could be no support, public support (public forum), pay-by-case support, or even the same as with paid. So what kind of support have you experienced? How do you feel about it?

    The Buying Cycle

This is an old one that people should know. Basically, it's saying people only buy after a sales pitch goes to them 7 times (something similar to that). Anyway, the ways of incorporating this method are often email and social media.

Banner Advertising - Pros and Cons

One pro is the fact that its quality traffic. I mean, it's not like some redirected or pop-up traffic where the quality and even the real nature :D (sometimes bots are used) is a question. Anyway, though, the con is that you might be able to get a better deal with quality pay-per-click, stuff...

    Facebook Pages and Groups

It's a fact that only a tiny amount of visitors to a Facebook page will see your feed (unless it's really small). In that case, you have to pay a fee - though, it's not a lot in comparison to other advertising. Anyway, are Facebook groups the same? I do know Facebook groups is vastly more...

Social Media Pages/Groups with A lot of Followers - How to Make Money?

Whether it be Facebook, Google++. Instagram, or Twitter, if you have a page of around 40,000 to even 100,000 followers, then what is there to do? Well, I suppose it would depend on the niche. Well, how about the YouTube creation niche? Anyway, it doesn't seem very sellable. Much better...

    The Donation Model of Blogging

This seems to work with blogs with a large loyal fan base.. Also, it always helps if the owner is putting out valuable content. Anyway, would any of you consider doing this? How much of a chance would you give it?
