Which do you prefer GIMP or Canva?

When I first started creating graphics and learning everything about graphics design, I started with a free trial of Photoshop but it being quite expensive, once my free trial was over I went looking for a free alternative and that was when I came across GIMP.

GIMP is a graphics design software I have used for many years and it was not until early 2022 that I found out about Canva through a friend I knew in the video game content creation world, since then I have been using GIMP and Canva to create my graphics but Canva is very much used more.

Which do you prefer when it comes to the free option for graphics design? GIMP or Canva?

Canva has been my preferred choice for a while now. They have almost every feature that I desire and makes it easier for me to do my design works as well.

GIMP is very good. If you haven't used it, you wouldn't know for sure how good it is. It's an open source software which gives you much room to improvise with it. But where Canva beat every other software is on its feature of pre existing templates.

I was using GIMP for many years and it serves me so well. But when I found out about Canva, I started shifting my interest on that. Truly, Canva is really good and I'm still using it till date.

It depends on what I am actually trying to work on. If it is something that the templates on canva will facilitate doing it faster, that is what I am going to prefer working on the project with.

Even though I don't have any problem with making use of GIMP, I would still prefer working with canva because it gives me a lot of templates that I can work faster with.

I make use of both of them to work. It is not about preference but the work I'm supposed to do with them. If it is Canva that is going to do it better than GIMP, I will be making use of Canva.

Canva is very easy to work with. I'm quite sure that's the reason why a lot of people prefer using it over any other graphic design software except for those who are exceptionally good with using Photoshop.

I've never used GIMP, I don't have any knowledge or experience how it compares to Canva or any other graphics design software. Canva is very good but Adobe Photoshop is better than all of them.

I have used both of them and I will prefer Canva always. It is simple and easy to use, I never really got around Gimp.

I have been using canva for a very long time while I have not even used Gimp for once. But from users reviews I can see that it is easier to use and navigate Canva than Gimp.

The simplicity of using canva is what makes it and easy twice for me to work with as a graphic designer. GIMP is good but canva makes your work so much easier.
