How to Track a hashtag on Twitter?

I am looking for a free tool which can track the popularity of a hashtag. Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know of any tool that can be able to track hashtag on Twitter. I haven't been very active on Twitter but I know very well that it's a very good platform for promoting one's business products and services.
