Columns codes HTML

[ClydeWalks]

Hi. I have just returned to HTML coding after 15 years and three serious illnesses. www.clydewalks.co.uk is the result, set up in the last couple of days.
I have tried to learn HTML 5 from an outdated tutor who used and insisted that his pupils used Internet Explorer. I gave up on this museum piece...

I put up walks with buttons and a short milage/km description below.

The codes are..

I can embed the miles / km in the buttons themselves. Which probably would be prettier. Not that I want pretty. I want this to be informative.
SO....
So I would like this long column to the end of the internet/world to be split up into 3 columns with the button and miles/km to be aligned and give meaning.

Any code you would recommend?
