The work station and set up of every website developer is a unique one. No doubt there are some tools that they must have so that they’ll be able to perform excellently well.
One thing I’m sure of is a stable power supply and Internet connection.

It's going to be absolutely impossible for someone who's a web developer to work without power supply and internet connection. Also, he can't do anything without a computer too, so that should be added to the list.

I agree with you on having an ergonomic chair because the developer tend to sit down a lot, so a chair which is going support his posture very well is very important.
