Both Illustrator and Photoshop are very good design application. I have been making use of them and they have served me very well. Photoshop is quite more expensive to use anyways.Which do you prefer, which revision, and why? I prefer Photoshop CS5, because I'm most familiar with it, though it seems Illustrator has a lot more design-oriented UI.

I particularly used Photoshop for all my graphics designing lessons. It's the only thing that I know how to use when it comes to doing any graphics design projects. I have used Canva a few times but I'm struggling with it.Which do you prefer, which revision, and why? I haven't use Adobe illustrator before though I know it's work. But Adobe illustrator and Adobe Photoshop complement each other and both are better at different things. Few designers prefer using illustrator but some other experts use both tools to get maximum benefits for their projects.

Both are good applications for designing. If you are an expert in them, you won't find designing to be hard at all.Photoshop is very good when you are looking at photo manipulation. The Adobe Illustrator goes beyond that with lots of amazing features.
