Favorite software?

I've never really done any graphic design, and the only design I did was making icons and simple logos in GIMP. What are your favorite software's for graphic design? Mines GIMP so far, but I'm going to expand my horizon soon.

When it comes to Image editing or photo enhancement, Adobe Photoshop is usually the primary option to consider. However, the software package itself is a quite hard to learn — and extremely hard to master. Corel Draw is also very good but I have preference for the former.
The major difference between the duo is artistic control. All the creative effects you see are done in Photoshop. Corel does not have effects. But when you combine the powers of both you can have a nice looking billboard with a huge logo.

As of the moment my favorite software is SketchUp. It is a 3D modeling software for beginners and a great way for planning out a 3D space quickly without needing much 3D knowledge and for people like me who just need a dip into 3D. At first use and the looks of it is not that user-friendly but we have Youtube now so I've watched some tutorials and started my project right away.. A year ago, I was searching for an application like this because I was planning to make my model house and now I made not one, but 5 types of houses that I want to build for my own in the future. All I can say is that it has a simple interface and is easy to operate. I gladly appreciate that SketchUp being a vastly open-source software. The SketchUp Warehouse is also an amazing extension that allows you to use pre-built assets from other users , speeding up the design process even more.

My favorite software is Microsoft Office. It is a suite of products developed by Microsoft Corporation that includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Each program serves a different purpose and is compatible with other programs included in the package. The suite of programs is compatible with both the Windows and Macintosh operating system. Microsoft Office is the most common form of software used in the western world.

As a Graphic Designer, I would like to say Adobe products because I love using Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, and After Effects.

I have also come to like Adobe PageMaker in recent times. It is a software application that enables individuals and groups to create and edit publications. The latest version, Adobe PageMaker 7.0, was noted by PC Magazine in 2001 for adding the data-merge feature. Users can import data from other sources, such as spreadsheets and databases, into a form. This feature is helpful for mail merges. The ability to work with portable digital format (PDF) files also creates possibilities for users who need to perform electronic publishing. For example, a business can publish a form on its website that can be printed in high quality by any Internet user.

I have discovered recently that Illustrator is my favourite. It is a vector based program. It uses intersecting points and lines instead of pixels. You know what that means? It means you never have to worry about your artwork looking blurry or pixelated (is that even a word?!). Anything you create in Illustrator is able to be scaled to any size. From icon to billboard, your design will print/view beautifully. If you use a photograph in your layout the resolution standards still apply (100% to size at 72ppi for screen) but anything vector (fonts, drawings, lines) will never lose their quality and can be scaled to any size. That alone helps me sleep better every… single… night! I sure do hate low res... pixelated images.

I've not delved deep into graphic design but I've always used Photoshop for the small things I have done. CC 2018

There's no need to look any farther than Adobe Illustrator if you're looking for the best graphic design software for vector drawing and editing. For a reason, it is still the industry-standard software, with the most comprehensive set of tools and functionality for vector editing. Illustrator, which is compatible with PC, Mac, and even iPads, lets you to design everything from graphics to logos with complete creative freedom, as well as a plethora of features and shortcuts to help you speed up your workflow.

I have been using Photoshop and Illustrator for many years and they have both worked so well for me. I have tried using the paid service of Canva but it still not up to the level of Photoshop.

I only know how to use Photoshop for my graphic designing projects and it's the best for me because when I started learning graphic designing it was only Photoshop that was used to teach me.

If you know how to make use of Photoshop very well there is nothing that you cannot be able to design using the software because it has everything that you need for an excellent graphics design Project.

I have never used any graphics design software that's better than Photoshop. There's nothing that can't be done with Photoshop especially if you're very good at it.

I make use of Photoshop more now when it comes to how I carry out all my graphics design work. GIMP is also very good and I have used it in the past.

I have been using Canva for more than 5 years and it's been very useful for me whenever I have any need to design anything.

But after using Photoshop last month, I feel in love with it because it's more user friendly and have tons of great features than Canva.
