I'm new to the site. I see several posts about converting and requests here, which I thought was for introductions?
I'm a divorced father of two (kids are grown and moved out), And I want to get out of Customer Service/Tech support and into web development. Most of my work has been purely frontend, making up web pages for gaming character sheets for various table-top games, or for character bios for the series I've been writing for over ten years now. Currently, I'm working on an ambitious (personally) project of converting a program I wrote in VB6 over completely to HTML/CSS/JS. If it works and does everything the original can do, then it would be my crowning achievement. Hopefully, the various questions I will likely have during this process can find answers here for the more obscure stuff which places like W3 may not provide or make easy-to-find.
