The highest I have paid for a website/forum in the past was $1200. It was a well built website that's more like an e-commerce website that generates at least $150 every month from sales of services on the site.

The last website which I purchased was $180 and it's the most expensive I have paid for any website. I usually get a good one at $100 to $120 but this one have a good database with lots of activities. It was $180 that's worth the pay.

The most expensive websites I've paid for cost me $450. I normally like starting my website from the scratch and build it to my taste. It's not an easy job but that's how I like to do it.
