Way to prevent page from extending when an animation that changes text size plays

I have a website I use as somewhat of a mess around hobby type thing and currently the links on the page are animated to change the font size to look like a wave of sorts.
the only issue with this is that the page extends every time this happens. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
