Prevent Shopping comparison in Edge

Is it possible in the HTML or via JavaScript to prevent Edge from displaying the Shopping comparison tool? We have an e-commerce site where we do NOT want them to see competitors popping up on screen. We've seen options to do this at the client side, but we'd like to prevent it from happening on the server or the site itself.
