PDFs won't download on my mobile version of my website

Hi, PDFs won't download on my mobile version of my website when using iPhone and iPad. The same PDFs all download on an android system. It must be due to my programming because I have android reader on the iPad. Has anybody got a suggestion as to what I am doing wrong or have programmed wrongly?
