My Gmail can't sync

I started having issues with my Gmail account yesterday. I found out that I stopped receiving new emails and when I tried to sync my account, it keeps giving me the notification of failed to sync. What's could be the cause of that?

It is possible that your account may have been hacked or there could be an issue with the server. I suggest you try resetting your password and running a virus scan to ensure your account is secure.

It might be a problem from your server or simply your internet connection. If you're sure both those two are not the issue, then there's a possibility that your account is hacked just like @Alfred Smith suggested.

You should try and uninstall your Gmail and see if it starts working because it was exactly what happened to me some years ago and after I had uninstalled the Gmail and downloaded it all over again, it started working very well

There should be where to find it in settings of manage account. This have happened to me before because the account sync wasn't enabled.
