Good for you. Cold and hot shower actually don't have any effect for me. The only think to knock me off and to have a peaceful sleep is beer. or any liquor beverages, It helps a lot. I tried everything music meditation, foods, but still not working.You guys need to figure out why it is you're having trouble sleeping. If I can't sleep, a hot shower knocks me right out.
I have also been learning how to get into meditation I'm practicing yoga whenever I am finding it very difficult to sleep at night and it has been very helpful for me since I started doing it.Before I have a hard time falling asleep but practicing relaxation techniques before bed is a great way for me to wind down, calm the mind, and prepare for sleep. I just close my eyes and imagine a place that’s calming and peaceful.
It is never easy when you cannot sleep at night because it will make you to be very frustrated most of the time since your body is not getting enough rest. It is something that requires a medical attention as quickly as possible so that it doesn't compromise your health.
I try and browse the computer a for a little while. If that doesn't work,I try and lay still in bed, without moving for as long as possible. I read somewhere that if lay completely still for 10 minutes, you WILL fall asleep. It definitely works.
