What is the difference between a 1944 copper penny and a 1944 steel penny?

The 1944 s penny value is the regular business strike circulating coin, While the 1944 steel penny is a mint error, It was produced in a small quantity. It was minted from specially remaining steel planchets from 1943 that were intended to be used because of copper scarcity during the Second World War. They are made of steel and are much lighter in color as compared to the copper one and are magnetic in nature. As a result of relative scarcity, steel pennies are worth far more than copper pennies of the same age.
