Tearing hair out over a table

Hello all

I am attempting to complete a table from the CIE Exam of 2018. Even looking at the mark scheme and copying it still yields a very unexpected result in the final row! The table is stipulated within the paper, and the first row has 3 columns at 400 px each, the final row has 2 columns with 600px each. Whatever I do, I am unable to get the dividing line in the centre of the two cells. Here's my code:

Any help would be much appreciated, as I can't see any logical reason for it not working.

Regards

Dave
