Do you socialize with your coworkers?

I guess this is more of a question of with regards to pre-covid...

How much do you socialize with your coworkers? Would you consider them your friends? How much time do you spend with them?

For me, I have never really thought too much about socializing outside of work. I'm friendly with my coworkers. I chat with them and what not. I like them. But I have no interest in having outside of work friendships. I like keeping everything professional. I don't want them being invested in my personal life because I want to keep my work life and my home life separate. I don't want the two interesting too much

The relationship that I have with my fellow workers is the only relationship that we have at our workplace and it's always going to be something that is about our work and nothing more. I don't keep relationships with any of them after work.

I don't have any business with having external relationship with anyone from my workplace. We can chat and play at work, but everything ends there when we leave office. None of my fellow workers knows my home.

I don't have any problems with getting to know my fellow colleagues in the office well. It guy have someone that vibes with you very well, it's good to keep a good relationship with the person.

Talking to my coworkers about things we have in common is a highlight of my day. It's crucial to create ties with your coworkers, so I make an effort to socialise with them outside of work hours.

I mildly socialize with my fellow workers. I try as much as possible to maintain a healthy relationship with a good boundaries with them because I wouldn't like being insulted in one way or another.

I have a very good relationship with my fellow coworkers. We get along very well as long as we are still at work. If we don't get along well, it's going to be very difficult for us to work together.

As an introvert, I found it so difficult to start a conversation with anybody, not because I can't talk but I feel it's too awkward to walk up to someone and start talking, I am always thinking that the talk will be gibberish. This always made me to stay on my lane, the only thing I used to do is to greet and pass my coworkers. I started reading books on interaction and public speaking, it helped me a lot. I started cultivating good relationship with my fellow co-workers but it's just in the office for an effective and successful work to be done.

Getting along with your coworkers will be a plus in terms of work efficency. One of the things that I have noticed in the workplace is that we can achieve a lot as long as we focus on building a better life in the workplace instead of being enemies.
