Destiny 2: How to Get the Let There Be Light Medal

The Guardian Games are back again in Destiny 2. Aside from all the new rewards and champion titles, the mechanics and basic formula of this festive event remain the same. Players equip a special class item and earn medals by completing event and competitor cards, which they then return to their class for points. Players can prepare enough Destiny 2 Silver in the game.

Just like in previous years, you can earn special Vanguard Medals by doing just about anything when playing Strikes in the Casual or Competitive playlist. Almost anything from earning a killing spree with a specific type of damage or weapon type will earn the player the Vanguard Medal. One of the medals, Let There Be Light, can be a little tricky to get. Here's how players can earn the Let There Be Light medal in Destiny 2 during the Guardian Games.

How to Earn the Let There Be Light Medal

Under the Guardian Games section of the Rebellion Victory Season, players will see a variety of Vanguard Medals that can be earned by doing almost anything in The Strike. There are a lot of Pioneer Medals, and it will take a certain amount of time to get them all. Let There Be Light is on the third page, and in order to get it, the player must do the following.

Let There Be Light: Quickly defeat three fighters with superpowers.

In order for enemy kills to be considered quick, the player should aim for less than a second between three kills. While this may seem difficult to do, any superpower that hits multiple enemies at once makes earning the Vanguard Medal very easy.

In the image above, the Strand Warlock Super Needlestorm is unleashed on a group of four enemies. As a result, he was awarded the Let There Be Light medal. This can also be done by roaming the Super, but players need to time it so they get as close to a group of enemies as possible. The tricky part of this medal is what the other players in the Fireteam do, so make sure to try and earn the Let There Be Light medal when the rest of your Fireteam isn't around.

In order to receive this Medal of Triumph, the player must obtain the Medal of Light 3 times. If players earn the Gold Competitor buff by reaching the Gold threshold in the Competitive playlist, they will receive a massive boost to their abilities and Super Restoration when killing combatants. This makes it much easier to unleash Supers almost back to back, especially if the player's playstyle is more aggressive. For more game guides, please visit okgameblog.com.
