    What would cause columns in a blockquote?

    I guess there is no real reason to use a blockquote, as I can just style a div to look exactly the same, without the issue(s). So I'll proibably just do that. Still curious what attribute would be causing the columns though.

    I tried using a blockquote within shopify, and it worked fine until I used <p> or <a> inside the blockquote, wherein it created columns.
