    Shady Traffic

Buying traffic is never a good idea. A lot of less-than-honest webmasters will buy traffic right before selling their website in order to boost their Google Analytics and search rankings, but then the traffic dies up and the new owner is left with a dead website.

    How Fast Do You Type?

I just used the 10 fast fingers website that someone linked to above and got 103 wpm with 97% accuracy. Not bad I would say. https://cl.ly/140u413P0o1K

    Emails Associated with Web Hosting

I like the layout of gmail the best, but it's more professional to have YourName@YourDomain.com as an email address, so many times I set those up in my webhosting and then forward them to my gmail.

    Payment options?

PayPal and Stripe are the two ecommerce methods that I use. Stripe is growing in popularity and is a great way to take credit cards without sending the user off your website to PayPal.

    The Buying Cycle

Yes, I've heard this quite often. The first time you hear about the new Hamburger at McDonald's, you don't go out and try it. What hosting do you use and why?

I am also with NameCheap for my low traffic sites and sites in development. When (if) they start to pick up traffic and need more resources, I move them to a VPS with LiquidWeb.

    Cheap website hosting services?

For cheap but GOOD and REAL hosting, I like Namecheap shared hosting. Around $2/month with a lot of features, good servers, and excellent support.

Do You Prefer Big-Name Web Hosts or Smaller Ones?

I prefer webhosts that aren't owned by Endurance (EIG). Any webhost that you look up that's owned by EIG is a big red flag to stay away. EIG owns a lot of the "big names" in webhosting - they buy a host, outsource the support, overload the servers, and then suck the profits out of it. Stay far...

What is CloudFlare for? Do you use it?

CloudFlare is more than DDOS protection. It is a layer between your website and the internet. It filters your traffic, helps reduce load on your server, caches images, keeps your website "online" if it goes down, and much more. Think of it more as a CDN than a DDOS firewall. It started out as a...

    How to improve site traffic?

Well you need to decide how you want people to find you. Do you want them finding you via other websites and other communities, or do you want them finding you via search engine queries? If it's the latter, you need to focus on building a website with content that users will search for and want...
